Are there any products good at getting a skin of concrete off of tools without taking the paint off too?

Sorry to disagree with Crash but Muriatic acid ';eats'; paint fairly well and has little effect on concrete. If it is just a skin of concrete, I'd take it off with a wire brush and re-prime and paint the tool -- taking more care with clean-up the next time I do some concrete work.Are there any products good at getting a skin of concrete off of tools without taking the paint off too?
Soak it in water for several days then take it to a high pressure washer at a car wash
