I would contact a professional ask him for a quote and while he is out giving you a price quote ask him what kind or brand he uses and if it's the best or longest lasting also ask him how it is applied. Then thank him and tell him you need to talk it over with the wife. Jump on ebay or do a web search and see if you can find the paint much cheaper elsewhere. umm probaly roller or pay someone to do it.
Just use painters tape and a roller. I would suggest using a paint made specifically for concrete (like for patios) though so it won't wear off so easily.
