Husband used a paint stripper on a concrete floor, to remove laminate tile glue...?

what can I use to remove to stripper?? how can I get the floor to where I can put different peel and stick tile on it and make sure it will stick??Husband used a paint stripper on a concrete floor, to remove laminate tile glue...?
Just what kind of glue?If you have any thing still on the floor it should be a residue from what you were trying to remove.

Is it tacky yet? If your trying to get to bare cement you don t necessarily need to..There are cement based compounds you can thin spread by hand to ';kill'; the old glue so the new adhesive will bond to it.. GLHusband used a paint stripper on a concrete floor, to remove laminate tile glue...?

I've heard of lots of floor problems after 35 years. Retired.

This is new.

I think you will need to seal the floor. That should prevent chemical reaction on the new adhesive.

The above site makes concrete sealers. They can be contacted from there. They may give you more appropriate advice than anyone here.
