What kind of paint do you use on a concrete sidewalk?

it has to be yellow paint so that ppl don't park in front of the job.. i'm not looking for a sealer or anything just something simple.. and where can i get it? i used a can of spray paint but its not good enough. What kind of paint do you use on a concrete sidewalk?
you can buy concrete paint, but its exspensive, or u can buy spray cans of yellow striping paint. It will go on thick and not wear off. You can buy it at any hardware store. What kind of paint do you use on a concrete sidewalk?
Always remember that paint salesmen are just that - salesmen - not painters.

If you want it to last (painting concrete) :

a. Scour with trisodiumphosphate (TSP), thoroughly rinse.

b. Etch with muriatic acid (1:4), thoroughly rinse.

c. When completely dry apply 2-3 thin coats

of traffic/stripping paint.
To me honey, I normally use Nippon odourless yellow paint for people to notice that this is a sidewalk, not a place for bikers to park their bikes though. I've called the toll trunks umpteen times and there are still jerks who insisted of parking there though.

Gees.....how infuriating though.....

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)
If you have any Home Dept, arond where you live? They're gonna point out the best stuff. Most any Hardware Store can help you with choosing the right one. Personally, I'd rather snuggle upto a big plate of Grits and Eggs!! Toss in a little Bacon. Put a spoon of Butter in the middle? A piece of Toast? And a good cup of Coffee. Gotta love it!!
The one brand that comes to mind is Behr, available at HD and I am sure many other places. It is a is an epoxy paint. The concrete must be degreased and etched for best results. Then a primer coat is applied, once dry the epoxy paint is applied with roller or brush. It is avaiable in many colors and is durable if applied correctly. It is the same paint for doing garage or basement floors. I have only used it once on a garage floor in very bad shape. It actually worked out well. Ask any paint department for the exact products for your project.
Concrete paint from any home improvement store like Lowe's, Home Depot, Menard's, etc. Or from a paint store like Diamond Vogel or Sherwin Williams...good luck!
Exterior enamel would be best, especially if you mix in masonry sand to make it non skid.
If you have some extra paint laying around the house like latex use that up. Otherwise I would use a outside paint (exterior).

I do believe they have concrete paint as well.

Any paint store such as Behr, home Depot even Wal-mart has paint.

You know something****** that would be a good opportunity to meet a cutie.

If there is any construction going on near you, or a city worker that paints the street ( shuuuuu ask him for some of that street paint or where you can get some from, let your day work for you. lol lol)

Best of Luck
Here you go love!
