I want to paint a large map of the United States on a concrete surface at an elementary school.?

Each state would be labeled and colored with a different color.

Any suggestions as to how I should go about this?I want to paint a large map of the United States on a concrete surface at an elementary school.?
I would either use an overhead projector or a large grid and use chalk for the outline. You could draw a grid over a normal size map then draw a much larger grid on the surface you are working on, then copy what is in each square one at a time, this will preserve the scale, keep Idaho from getting bigger than TexasI want to paint a large map of the United States on a concrete surface at an elementary school.?
i assume that you do have permission from the school, RIGHT?
