How can I get SPRAY-PAINT off on CONCRETE?

It isn't really thick, or anything... but, it's green and unsightly.

Were were going to try taking a wire bristle brush to it.... but is there anything more effective I can try?How can I get SPRAY-PAINT off on CONCRETE?
there is a product called ';';Concrete Cleaner';'; that you can find in discount stores if you are familiar with 99 cent stores they carry it I used it for the same reason and it did work I did also use the wire brush with it try it you won't know until you do good luckHow can I get SPRAY-PAINT off on CONCRETE?
try lacquer thinner in a spot , it may lighten the color but should blend in over time
Pressure wash it.
what ever stripper that is recommended for the type of paint...muriatic acid wont do anything to paint...sandblasting will mess up the finished surface, as will power washing if you're not careful...
If you want to wait until Spring, a High-Pressure Water Pump that you attach a water hose to is the best.

But once you start, you will quickly realise that you will want to do the whole sidewalk or patio, because you will also be getting back down to the real concrete surface with the spray. You will also be removing years of sun-baked and weathered dead fungi and other discolorations due to normal aging.

So, it would be depending on the size of the concrete area whether you would want to use the high pressure pump.
I haven't tried this, but my dad suggested I use carb cleaner (from the auto care section) and then scrub with the wire brush or soak it up with kitty litter.

Most spray paint is oil based, so paint thinner or stripper would be another option to try. In the rare even that you got latex spray paint, then you'd probably want warm water, some granulated cleanser like comet, and a wire or scrub brush.
Muriatic acid is used to etch glass and remove concrete to get the 'pebbled' look... DO NOT USE it unless you want to actually remove the concrete along with the paint!

And be sure to follow the directions with regards to safety if you do, hehehe

I'd recommend Acetone. You can buy it at any hardware store, or anywhere paint is sold. It'll strip any kind of finish, without harming the concrete. It IS flammable -- so I wouldnt recommend using a wire brush with it. (And use in a well ventilated are - you didnt say if this paint was inside or out)

Another option would be oven cleaner. EZ-Off, for example can be used to remove lettering painted on a vehicle (Ive used it), so I know you can use it safely on the concrete too...tho its slower than the acetone (but acetone would strip the original car finish too)

Or you might decide to try something designed to remove graffiti - here is a link to one such product - http://www.graffiticlear.com/

Some power sprayers have enough pressure to strip paint... or as someone else mentioned, you can try a sandblaster...tho it will tend to lighten the concrete where you use it... depending on the grit you use, it may even remove some of the concrete.

Have Fun
You can ask at a hardware store if maratic acid will do the trick, must wear gloves and be very careful, you will need googles, and old clothes etc. and be extremely careful!!!!
pressure wash ~~~w/ water
Try using some sand paper. Also consider a grinding wheel. Just sand and take enough to remove the paint.

Cheers and good luck!
is the paint an oil or latex? if it is oil you will probably have to resort to muriatic acid. be careful it will burn you badly if you get it on your skin. if it is a latex paint there is a product called oops or goof off. it can be purchased at any store that sells paint. put some oops or goof off on the paint and then use a brush or rag to clean it. it will come right off for you.

good luck
Paint thinner or Muric acid
Sand Blasting?
