Our trash folks spilled white paint at the end of our driveway and it is ugly and lots of it! It's been like this for a few weeks now. I was so mad because we just bought this house!!How do we get white paint off concrete driveway?
If there is a lot of paint and it is latex I would suggest renting a pressure washer and blasting the paint off with water. How do we get white paint off concrete driveway?
Fireplace ashes work with certain type of concrete.(if the driveway is concrete) Sprinkle some on and scrub with a wire brush and it should make all the concrete look the same.
Lowes has several types of paint stripper that will do the job
I would get some 'Goof Off' (sounds like you might need a BIG container!) and pour it on the spilled paint...do it in the morning, let it sit for most of the day, then start with a scraper and a bucket and then a wire brush, warm water and paper towels or rags, followed up with the suggested pressure washer, using a tight 'fan' tip on the pressure washer wand. By the way: did YOU put the paint in the trash? The best way to deal with any paint that you don't want is to take the lid off the can(s) and let the paint dry out...takes time to do, but that's what virtually every municipality's HazMat department suggests, then take the dried out paint-in-cans to the appropriate disposal center...a landfill or dump is NOT the right place for paint to end up.
Same thing happened to me. Mine was latex paint, so when it hardened, I picked it off.
Depence what kind of paint is on the concrete. If its LATEX...dont worry ,rain will wash it away for you:) If its oil based paint...thats not good. Try to use paint stripper/remover (dont forget to wear the gloves..:)..)
I had this problem couple times ( im contractor) , i got rid of it with grander and spec. concrete granding disc. If you do that just do it gentle, you dont wanna damage your concrete even more:)
